In Memoriam Donations
When a friend or loved one passes away, people increasingly prefer to make a charitable donation in lieu of flowers. If you wish to pay tribute in this way, you may send a donation to the Foundation for Neurologic Diseases, 10 State Street Newburyport, MA 01950, specifying the full name of the deceased, information of family member of deceased to which acknowledgment should be sent, a check in the amount you wish to contribute, as well as your name, telephone number and address. The Foundation will be pleased to acknowledge your donation and notify the family of the deceased of your gift.

Every dollar of your donation will be allocated to Alzheimer's research under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Lemere. Dr. Lemere and her scientific team are in the midst of discovering the right targets to chronically inhibit or prevent AD with drug therapies.

Thought our friends and my fellow co-workers might be willing to send a prayer Ken's way. He had a quadruple by-pass and aortic valve replacement on the 17th of August. Unfortunately, complications set in, which meant more surgery and he has been back in CICU for 11 days and isn't responding very well to treatment. We would appreciate prayers and positive thoughts for his recovery.

We recently heard from Yvette Dans.

Yvette and her mother Marie Rose Dans were in an auto accident on July 6^th. Yvette had injuries requiring stitches; her mother has spent the last 3 months in a Melrose rehab recovering from leg and ankle injuries. Yvette�s car was totaled in the accident. Susan Young, a longtime friend of Yvette, has been taking Yvette to visit her Mom in Melrose. We send our Best Wishes to both Yvette and Marie Rose.
